Jo Scantlebury

Jo is a speech and language therapist who sees our patients from Durham and its surrounding counties. She also provides some appointments, namely clinical interviews as part of an ASD assessment, online.

With over 14 years experience of supporting people with ASD both pre- and post-diagnosis, she understands the personal assessment journey of our patients. Her experience comes from both the NHS and private practice.

Jo describes herself as a “Mum to a wonderful autistic child” and she has accessed additional training in selective mutism and alternative communication methods, such as Makaton and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
