Dr Broom qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2006 and has since worked in NHS teams in the East Midlands with children of all ages and adults with learning disability, mental health needs, and/or ASD. Her experience spans assessment work and psychological interventions, as well as training for stakeholders in topics relevant to patient care.

She has completed additional training in systemic practice and family therapy, working in a neuroaffirmative way, and sensory processing in ASD, and her research on differential diagnosis in ASD has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals (https://tinyurl.com/35bhzz3d).
