Dr Lauren Baldwin

Clinical Psychologist

Remote Worker

Dr Baldwin, a clinical psychologist, works as a lead clinician on our ASD assessment pathway, providing both the clinical interview appointment and the feedback appointment on behalf of the multidisciplinary team. Her expertise in this field extends to special groups, namely ‘looked after’ children, severe mental health disorders, offending/forensic behaviour, learning disability, and physical health conditions.

In addition, Dr Baldwin is trained to administer and interpret the ADOS-2; an observational assessment that is completed in-person and which is relevant to our ASD pathway.

The psychologist was brilliant at giving myself, and my mother time to explain everything in our initial appointment with her. She was very compassionate and actively listened to what we were saying. She carefully kept us on track and gave us lots of good advice, and reassurance on our feedback appointment in relation to [my child].

The team seem genuinely considerate, caring and skilled. The process was interesting, well explained and professionally delivered.

The team acted in a professional manner. The report was indepth and factual. Overall, I would say it was five star and I would definitely recommend this service to others.

All the staff were professional and caring helped me an my child feel at ease at every appointment I would highly recommend the autism service to anybody

Both the clinical members I met with were excellent, clearly experienced as well as kind and thorough. I was also pleased with the detail of the report and especially the recommendations given. All in all a really positive experience.
