Dr Coulson joined The Autism Service with 13 years post-qualification experience, gained within the NHS. She has worked in teams specialising in the development of preschool children (including impact of trauma), long-term health conditions, and neurological conditions.

Working primarily on our ASD diagnostic pathway, Dr Coulson has completed additional training relevant to the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD, as well a course on working therapeutically with children with attachment disruption/disorder. She seeks to create a safe and containing space where patients can explore their difficulties.
