Dr Helena Varnaseri is an experienced clinical psychologist with over 15 years NHS experience, provides the ‘lead clinician’ role as part of our ASD assessment pathway. She meets with our patients to obtain a developmental history, links in with the multidisciplinary team to form a diagnostic decision, and provides feedback to patients on their outcome, both verbally and in writing.
Her reports are thorough and detailed, providing a clear explanation that assists our patients to understand their profile. She can occasionally be found at our London clinic completing ADOS-2 assessments.
Since qualifying, Dr Varnaseri has specialised in the field of neurodevelopment and learning disability, working in NHS child development teams, child mental health services, and adult ASD services. She holds a professional diploma in positive behaviour support.
