Dr Amy Churm is a clinical psychologist who works on our autism pathway, administering clinical interviews and conducting feedback appointments. With extensive experience of working in mental health and learning disability settings, both in the NHS and privately, as well as her specialist training in adapting cognitive behavioural therapy or CBT for patients with neurodevelopmental differences, she brings a special set of skills to our multidisciplinary team.
Alongside being trained to administer the ADOS-2, Dr Churm has accessed training in several autism-specific clinical interview tools, including the ADI-R, the Adult Asperger Assessment (‘AAA’), and the Autism Clinical Interview for Adults (‘ACIA’).
