Face-to-face assessments at our Suffolk clinic

There are over 700,000 people living with Autism across the UK, many of which go undiagnosed or are left waiting months (or even years) for the necessary appointment. This can be stressful and lead to increased anxiety at what can already be a difficult time.

After starting out in 2019, The Autism Service has expanded since then to offer face-to-face appointments across the UK, with the goal of offering fast, accurate autism and ADHD assessments in both children and adults.

Opening our Suffolk clinic allows us to increase regional capacity, enabling us to carry out hundreds of assessments in the area. At the moment, we’re only carrying out autism assessments at this clinic (which are available for both adults and children). If you require an ADHD or combined assessment, please book at one of our other locations. Essex is our closest clinic that offers both pathways.

Our clinicians deliver fast, accurate diagnostic assessments to identify whether you or your child has ASD or not.

Why people choose us

  • Our assessment pathways follow national guidance from NICE
  • You will only be seen by clinicians who are professionally regulated in their practice
  • Your assessment will include at least one in-person appointment
  • We use the best available tools to assist diagnosis
  • You will be assessed by a multi-disciplinary team
  • The outcome of the assessment will be recognised by external organisations

  2. Observational assessment in clinic (ADOS-2)
  3. School observation
  4. Multi-disciplinary team diagnostic meeting
  5. Feedback appointment and the written report

“Excellent and professional service from beginning to end. As a result, school have acted swiftly in response to our son’s diagnosis and recommendations in the report.”

“The assessment was a lot more robust then when I tried to do it through the NHS, and I was seen by multiple clinicians and their report was thorough.”

“From being extremely nervous about using a private company for our daughter’s diagnosis, it was actually the best decision we made. The process was seamless from start to finish.”
